Job summary

Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Program Coordinator to work in our Provider Operations department. The successful candidate will support local operations by acting as a subject matter expert on onboarding and offboarding for providers, serve as an educator and internal consultant, and maintain resources and dashboards using Excel.

The role requires collaboration with leadership and system function teams to ensure timely onboarding and program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Onboarding experience/exposure (preferred).
• Healthcare experience and/or recruiting experience (preferred).
• Database management experience (preferred).
• Direct physician contact experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for providers.
• Educate and consult operations leaders.
• Communicate with leaders and teams via email, Teams, and in person.
• Maintain resources and websites.
• Utilize Excel to maintain a provider onboarding dashboard.
• Assist New Provider Orientation and prepare onsite materials.
• Collaborate with system functions to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Identify and implement onboarding best practices.
• Provide administrative support to the Provider Operations Director and Managers.
