Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Program Coordinator in Provider Operations to support onboarding and offboarding of providers, act as an educator to operations leaders, and maintain onboarding dashboards.

You will collaborate with system function teams to improve processes, coordinate New Physician Orientation, and provide administrative support to the Provider Operations Director and managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of directly relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and think independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high-quality customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with system functions to communicate onboarding needs of new physicians and providers to ensure onboarding timelines are achieved.
• Assists in preparing reports to demonstrate the effectiveness of Provider Operations initiatives by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data trends.
• Act as a change agent, championing a positive provider experience and supporting project teams through process improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate the provider onboarding process and make recommendations for improvements.
• Exemplifies excellent customer relations with providers and employees, and coaches leadership on onboarding best practices.
• Coordinates the New Physician Orientation Program including registration and onsite materials.
• Communicates effectively, demonstrates problem-solving and conflict management skills, and keeps administrators informed.
• Seeks out new ideas and best practices in onboarding and updates resources and forms.
• Performs administrative support to the Provider Operations Director and Managers.
• Participate in system-wide training efforts on improvement methods.
