Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related field; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience accepted.
• Five years of Academic Professional Affairs Office experience.
• At least one year of credentialing and privileging experience.
• Experience in a Medical Staff Office.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with detail-oriented projects.
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manages all provider data from MD Staff Credentialing Software.
• Creates and manages provider demographics and data required by 45+ managed care companies and regulatory entities.
• Assists in credentialing data audits and validation of data in the MD Staff program.
• Manages data to department chairpersons and service line directors.
• Navigates appointments, promotions and tenure duties as assigned by CWRU School of Medicine and CWRU School of Dentistry.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
