Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking an experienced healthcare credentialing professional for a full-time, on-site role in Blue Bell, PA. You will manage the entire credentialing process for physicians and APPs, secure hospital privileges, and coordinate licensing across multiple states.

You will collaborate with hospital staff and internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely readiness. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of credentialing experience, CPCS is preferred, and a bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare credentialing experience.
• Experience with physician or APP credentialing preferred.
• Experience obtaining hospital privileges and managing facility credentialing processes.
• Familiarity with provider state licensing and credentialing documentation.
• CPCS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end provider credentialing for physicians and APPs.
• Obtain and maintain hospital privileges for new and existing providers.
• Coordinate credentialing applications, supporting documentation, renewals, and follow-ups.
• Facilitate state licensing for newly hired providers.
• Prepare state-specific collaborative and prescriptive authority agreements as applicable.

Location

This is a full time, on-site opportunity in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Our team works closely together in the office to coordinate provider credentialing, hospital privileges, licensing, and onboarding. Candidates should be comfortable commuting to Blue Bell on a regular basis.

Note

Candidates should have 5+ years of credentialing experience, preferably involving physicians, advanced practice providers, hospital privileges, or facility credentialing. A bachelor's degree is required, and Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist, CPCS, certification is preferred.

• Help implement and improve credentialing procedures, workflows, and internal processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare credentialing experience.
• Experience with physician or advanced practice provider credentialing strongly preferred.
• Experience obtaining hospital privileges and managing facility credentialing processes.
• Familiarity with provider state licensing and credentialing documentation.
• CPCS certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and follow up skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple provider files and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfortable communicating directly with physicians, APPs, hospital medical staff offices, and internal leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic credentialing or document management systems.
