Job summary

CRH Medical Corporation seeks a Provider Accountant to manage the complete provider billing and payment cycle, from contract setup to invoicing and reconciliation. The role serves as the primary liaison between External Customers, Providers, Recruiting and Finance to ensure provider rates are accurate, timesheets are processed timely, and related accounting transactions are recorded and reconciled.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree required; Bachelor's preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, or related field.
• Experience: 3–6 years in accounting/payroll; staffing or healthcare experience preferred.
• Skills: detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities; excellent communication; capable of maintaining confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Vendor Setup and Contract Management: Review/approve reports, contracts, banking info; maintain rate change schedules.
• Provider Payments (Weekly): Reconcile timesheets, process payments, upload NACHA files, issue remittances.
• Assist Accounts Receivable (Weekly): Generate invoices, verify accuracy, resolve payment discrepancies, manage invoice docs.
• Direct Report Management: Lead one direct report, set priorities, monitor performance, provide development feedback.
• Other/Process Improvement: Prepare 1099s, assist audits, implement new systems, improve data entry efficiency.
