We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (31.5 hours/week) for our Family Medicine Department. The position is eligible for full-time benefits, including medical and dental insurance. No previous experience or certification as a Medical Assistant is required, but applicants must meet the minimum requirements for the role.
Other part-time and full-time opportunities may be available.
$3,000 HIRING BONUS for eligible candidates.
As a provider assistant at HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater, you will perform various patient care duties in a clinical setting, including documenting medical information, administering medications/vaccinations, obtaining medical histories, and recording vital signs. You will assist healthcare providers to deliver timely services according to physician/RN guidance and clinic policies. All activities support the mission, vision, goals, and objectives of HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater.
Plus, current CPR certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
All candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills, tact and diplomacy in interactions with patients, families, and team members. Demonstrating compassion and understanding patient education needs is essential. Candidates should be able to learn and retain patient care procedures, plan and prioritize tasks, remain calm under stress, and ideally have experience with EPIC software.
