We are currently seeking a part-time (31.6 hours/week) Medical Assistant for our Medical Pediatrics Department. This position is eligible for part-time benefits, including medical and dental insurance. No prior experience or certification as a Medical Assistant is required, but candidates must meet the minimum qualifications for the role.

Job Description:
As a provider assistant at HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater, you will perform various patient care duties, including documenting medical information, administering medications and vaccinations, obtaining medical histories, and recording vital signs. You will assist healthcare providers in delivering timely services according to physician or RN guidance and clinic policies. All activities support the mission, vision, goals, and objectives of HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater.

Required Qualifications:
Plus, current CPR certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Preferred Qualifications:
All candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills, tact and diplomacy in interactions with patients, families, and team members. Demonstrating compassion, understanding patient education needs, and effectively sharing information are essential. Candidates should be able to learn and retain patient care procedures, plan and prioritize tasks, remain calm under stress, and ideally have experience with EPIC software.
