• HIRING BONUS AVAILABLE***

We are currently looking for a medical assistant (23.75 hours/week) for our Family Medicine Department. The position is eligible for part-time benefits including medical and dental insurance. Applicants do not need previous experience or certification as a medical assistant but must meet the minimum requirements for the position.

$3,000 HIRING BONUS for eligible candidates

As a provider assistant at HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater, you will perform patient care duties such as documenting medical information, administering medications/vaccinations, obtaining medical histories, and monitoring vital signs. You will assist healthcare providers in delivering timely services according to clinic policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Take vital signs and record findings
• Review wellness questionnaires with patients
• Administer immunizations
• Monitor messages and relay responses
• Enter orders for lab services

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with or without certification (AAMA or AMT), or
• Current LPN license (MN and WI), or
• Graduate of an accredited EMT program with current EMT license (national and Minnesota)

Plus, current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of medical assistant or LPN experience in a clinical setting
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record software

All candidates should possess excellent communication, customer service skills, and the ability to demonstrate compassion, learn patient care procedures, and work effectively under stress.
