We are currently looking for a medical assistant (36 hours/week) to room patients for our primary care departments: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Position is eligible for full-time benefits including medical and dental insurance. Applicants do not need previous experience or training/certification as a medical assistant but do need to meet the minimum requirements for the position.

Job Description:
As a provider assistant at HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting that include documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc.
The provider assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures.
All programs and activities are designed to support the short- and long-term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater.
Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
PLUS current CPR certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications:
All candidates should have excellent verbal and written skills; excellent customer services skills; tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions with patients, families, and care team members; An ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in all interactions; Understanding of patient education needs, able to effectively share information with patient, family members and care team members as needed; Ability to learn, retain information regarding patient care procedures; Ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks; Ability to remain calm in stressful situation; Experience with EPIC preferred.
