Job summary

SullivanCotter is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead Provider Affiliation and Optimization engagements, managing delivery and fostering strong client relationships within the PAO service line.

The role focuses on affiliation strategies, optimization of medical groups, and value-based care, with remote work flexibility and opportunities to contribute to thought leadership and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fifteen years or more of physician-hospital affiliation, and medical group/service line performance improvement, operational and consulting experience.
• Proficient in problem-solving, critical thinking, and data-driven analysis.
• Foster open and effective communication with clients and across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple consulting engagements and manage client relationships.
• Develop client strategies and grow revenue in the health care market.
• Serve as the Client Relationship Manager for large, complex engagements.
• Lead project teams to ensure effective planning, organizing, and management of engagements.
• Develop proposals and statements of work for new opportunities.
• Synthesize complex data into actionable results and present findings.
