Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years MIG/TIG welding experience.
• Prototyping/custom fabrication background; job shop rhythm is a plus.
• Confident reading blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Independent problem-solver who works well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own the build of prototypes and low-volume parts from drawings and CAD.
• Apply TIG and MIG techniques across steel, stainless, and aluminum.
• Cut, fit, tack, weld, and finish to tight tolerances with self-checks.
• Collaborate with machining and engineering to improve manufacturability.
• Read blueprints, weld symbols, and GD&T requirements.
• Contribute to fixture setup and early prototype development.
• Maintain a tidy, safe work cell.
