The ideal candidate has 2+ years of industrial welding experience, AWS Certification preferred, and the ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T notation. This full-time position emphasizes independent work and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience in an industrial setting.
• AWS Certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T notation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding equipment.
• Identify materials and manage fixtures.
• Operate Projection Welder and troubleshoot as needed.
• Perform 1st piece table layouts with GD&T understanding.
• Troubleshoot prototype welding builds and implement corrective actions.
• Process job folders and quality documentation.
• Assemble and verify prototype fixtures and verify accuracy.
• Load and run robot welder in auto mode and repair assemblies as needed.
• Interpret CMM reports and ensure good first piece performance.
• Weld stainless and mild steel to AWS specifications.
• Use E2 to locate information and support daily operations.
• Develop and evaluate team members to improve quality and process.
• Participate in safety functions and follow procedures.
