Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Prototype Solutions & Technical Support Technician in Michigan to deploy, operate, and maintain prototype equipment and test assets for vehicle development projects. You will provide hands-on support to engineering teams, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and travel across regional sites to ensure continuity and readiness of prototype systems.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 years supporting prototype systems, testing activities, or embedded systems.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

Support engineers during design, development, integration, and validation of prototype projects.
Procure, prepare, install, configure, and commission prototype hardware and equipment.
Perform modifications, repairs, and upgrades to maintain prototype functionality.
Prepare, operate, and maintain prototype vehicles, test benches, and equipment.
Conduct testing, measurements, inspections, and first-level diagnostics.
Travel between multiple sites within the region to support deployed prototype assets.
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to engineers and end users.
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and embedded systems issues and implement corrective actions.
Document testing, maintenance actions, and technical findings.
Contribute to continuous improvement of prototyping tools and processes.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
