Stellantis Auburn, Alabama engineering team is seeking a Prototype Support Technician to assist design, development, integration, and validation of new prototype projects. You will procure, install, configure, and commission prototype hardware and equipment.

You'll perform repairs, maintain prototype assets, conduct testing, diagnostics, and documentation, travel regionally to sites, and provide Level 1–2 technical support to engineers and end users.

Qualificações

• Associates degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years supporting prototype systems, testing, or embedded systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite.
• Able to work any shift; union mandated work.
• Hands-on work across workshops, labs, garages, and offices.
• Frequent lifting of equipment and materials.

Responsabilidades

• Support engineers during design, development, integration, and validation of prototype projects.
• Procure, prepare, install, configure, and commission prototype hardware and equipment.
• Perform modifications, repairs, and upgrades to maintain prototype functionality.
• Prepare, operate, and maintain prototype vehicles, test benches, and related equipment.
• Conduct testing, measurements, inspections, and first-level diagnostics.
• Travel between sites within the region to support prototype assets.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to engineers and end users.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and embedded systems issues.
• Document testing activities, maintenance actions, and findings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of prototyping tools and processes.
• Ensure safety procedures and company standards are followed.
