Job summary

Performance Driven Workforce is hiring Full-time Experienced Prototype Mechanics in Livonia, MI. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and assembling vehicles in a prototype environment across AM and PM shifts with overtime and weekend requirements.

The candidate should have 3–4 years of automotive technician experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and own professional automotive tools. Training on first shift will precede any shift transition.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret repair procedures and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle functional condition from repair orders and leader instructions.
• Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Repair vehicle systems and replace parts as needed in a prototype environment.
• Modify and assemble cars and trucks in a prototype setting.
• Maintain accurate records of services, repairs, and inspections.
