Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Vehicle Industrialization Lead Engineer to coordinate troubleshooting and repair activities for prototype and production vehicles across engineering, supplier sub-assembly, and manufacturing facilities in Auburn Hills, MI.

The role supports launch activities at plants, conducts electrical validation testing, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver robust test processes and timely solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years automotive electrical triage experience.
• Valid driver’s license; able to drive and test vehicles.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
• Troubleshooting experience with vehicle systems at assembly plants, road trips, and proving grounds.
• Familiarity with electrical debugging tools such as digital multimeter, oscilloscope, CAN tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct troubleshooting and repair activities for prototype and production vehicles across facilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to solve complex vehicle problems.
• Support launch activities at plants, pilot plants and supplier sub-assembly.
• Conduct electrical validation testing and document results.
• Lead PS/DDT reviews, PAT/EOL reviews, and related test development.
• Interface with SQA and modular assemblers to align test development.
