ROUSH in Livonia, MI is seeking a Prototype Project Manager II to lead the project team from planning through execution, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. This role partners with cross-functional groups to coordinate subcontractors and manage budgets.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of project coordination experience, strong mentoring and presentation skills, and expert MS Office capabilities. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7 years of project coordination experience.
• Experience mentoring and leading others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to host presentations.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel formulas), Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and stay organized.
• Ability to interpret customer requests and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, coach, and mentor team members.
• Direct and manage coordination groups for subcontractors.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee coordinator activities and monitor project status.
• Develop and execute large project plans.
• Complete milestones on time, on budget and with quality.
• Collect data from customers, suppliers, BOM and other resources to compile reports.
• Manage day-to-day build operations supporting department management.
• Review project status daily and report progress.
• Manage continuous quality improvement activities.
