Job summary

Roush in Livonia, MI seeks a Prototype Project Coordinator (Level I) to assist in planning and coordinating office and shop activities, track data and schedules, and ensure timely milestones within budget. This onsite role supports cross-functional teams and uses basic office software.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, automotive experience, strong communication, and reliability, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and learn new skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of automotive experience.
• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer service skills, reliable attendance and ability to work overtime.
• Ability to follow directions, learn new skills and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating office and shop activity and relay customer expectations.
• Assist in developing and executing small project plans.
• Complete milestones on time and within budget, work with the cross-functional team to ensure deliverables.
• Review data from customers, suppliers, and create reports.
• Coordinate assignments for subcontractors and monitor performance of vendors.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
