Job summary

Roush is seeking a Prototype Project Coordinator in Romeo, MI to plan, schedule, and coordinate office and shop activities while aligning with customer expectations. You will assist the Project Manager with timing, budgets, quality, and material management, and oversee subcontractors and vendors to deliver milestones on time.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of coordination or skilled-trade experience, plus strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of coordination experience or 3 years of skilled trade experience.
• Excellent customer service skills; detail oriented; reliable attendance; overtime ability.
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to follow directions and multi-task.
• Ability to compile lessons learned for continuous quality development.
• Intermediate computer skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate office and shop activity and relay customer expectations.
• Assist the Project Manager in activities including timing, budgets, quality, and material management.
• Direct and coordinate assignments for subcontractors and monitor performance of vendors.
• Develop and execute small project plans.
• Complete milestones on time and within budget, work with the cross-functional team to ensure deliverables.
• Collect data from customers, suppliers, Bill of Material, and other resources to compile reports.
• Review project status daily and report percentage of completion.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
