ROUSH is seeking a Prototype Project Coordinator II in Romeo, MI to manage status updates, budgets, and deliverables for engineering projects. You will mentor team members, coordinate office and shop activities, and ensure customer expectations are met in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, coordination, and data collection skills, with cross-functional collaboration across departments. Local candidates in Michigan are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of coordination experience or 3 years of skilled trade experience.
• Excellent customer service skills, very detail oriented, reliable attendance and ability to work overtime.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with different cross functional teams.
• Ability to follow directions and multi-task.
• Ability to compile lessons learned for continuous quality development.
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate office and shop activity and relay customer expectations
• Assist the Project Manager in activities including timing, budgets, quality, and material management
• Direct and coordinate assignments for subcontractors and monitor performance of vendors
• Develop and execute small project plans
• Complete milestones on time and within budget, work with the cross-functional team to ensure deliverables
• Collect data from customers, suppliers, Bill of Material, and other resources to compile reports
• Review project status daily and report percentage of completion
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
