Job summary

INEOS Energy in Denver, CO seeks a Process Innovation Lead to diagnose root causes of business challenges and design technology‑enabled solutions that deliver measurable efficiency gains.

You will develop prototypes, validate concepts through iterative testing, and collaborate with IT and business owners to ensure scalable solutions, leveraging Snowflake, Power BI, and AI‑driven approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Software, Chemical, or related).
• 5+ years of oil & gas experience in Production, Operations, Reservoir, Facilities, Drilling and Completions or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience with data analysis, scripting, software development, or automation tools.
• Ability to translate operational problems into technical solutions.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with IT, data teams, or technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose root causes of business challenges and develop tech-enabled solutions with measurable improvements.
• Design and prototype solutions, evaluating build vs buy vs partner options, and lead development when needed.
• Develop functional prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts, validate concepts and hand off to IT for long‑term development.
