Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiar with interpretation of component and assembly drawings and Engineering Specifications.
  • Must understand GD&T.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Basic working knowledge of drivelines is preferred.
  • Experience with basic MRP system functions is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement and assembly processes for axle and driveshaft components.
  • Procure and process production parts with suppliers across various commodities.
  • Communicate quality expectations to suppliers and coordinate with Quality Engineers.
  • Serve as liaison between Samples Department and other Dana Departments.
  • Identify and procure assembly tooling required for builds.

Verbal and written communication skills
Interpretation of component and assembly drawings
Knowledge of GD&T
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
Basic working knowledge of drivelines

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
