Job summary

RTX Corporation's Bike Shop in Tucson, AZ seeks a Prototype Planner Section Leader to guide a team of up to 15 planners, handling BOM analysis, component purchasing, and material status reporting to meet program schedules and quality goals.

You'll leverage SAP/PRISM, Common PDM, MatTrak, and RAYTrak to support engineering hardware programs throughout development, while ensuring cost and schedule targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 6+ years, or 12+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with prototype planning and material procurement.
• Experience using SAP/PRISM for material movement.
• Ability to align multiple disciplines to meet objectives.
• Supplier quoting and interface experience.
• Active U.S. government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage kitting requests through Engineering stores.
• Develop inventory control to avoid delayed schedule.
• Assist in processing program requests and shipments according to schedule.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on objectives and strategies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to complete kitting on-time and within program requirements.
