Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manufacturing Factory Planner in Goleta to drive delivery performance through production scheduling and capacity planning. You will own short- and long-range planning, mitigate risks, and coordinate with factory operations and program leadership.

The role requires strong organization, analytical ability, and decisiveness in a dynamic manufacturing environment. On-site location in Goleta, CA supported by cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in related roles.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, planning, production, or quality environments.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly 30/60/90-day factory planning process.
• Coordinate program inputs and lead factory reviews.
• Review long-term MPS submissions and provide guidance.
• Communicate schedule risks and actions to leadership.
• Prioritize work in resource-constrained areas to meet delivery commitments.
• Develop weekly production plans and adjust as needed.
