Benoit Premium Threading LLC in Houma, LA, is seeking an R&D Technician to manufacture, inspect, document, and support prototype testing for the Technology Department.

You will work on machining, inspection, and testing prototypes, maintain setup and tool data, and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams. Candidates need 2–4 years related experience and a high school diploma; associates preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of related experience in machining or inspection.
• Experience with CNC operation, offline programming, and prototyping is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Machining, inspection, and testing of prototypes for R&D workflows.
• Set up equipment and perform inspections per procedures.
• Maintain documentation for programs, setups and prototype results.
• Move parts and tooling using approved material-handling methods.
