Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA seeks an R&D Engineering Technician with strong prototype‑machining and fabrication capabilities. You will turn CAD into test‑ready hardware, handle instrumentation and data‑acquisition, and collaborate with engineers across safety and operations.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in high‑mix hardware, is proficient with mills/CNCs, and can coordinate with internal/external shops while ensuring safety and documentation standards.

Competenze

• 4+ years hands-on prototype machining or related hardware experience.
• Ability to translate CAD drawings to finished parts with mills, lathes, CNCs, and inspection methods.
• Read drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and materials to identify manufacturability constraints.
• Experience coordinating internal/externa machine shops while preserving engineering approval.

Mansioni

• Machine and fabricate prototype parts from approved CAD/drawings using manual/CNC tools.
• Provide feedback on manufacturability, tolerances, materials, tooling, and inspection.
• Coordinate purchases and works with machine shops to ensure quality and timelines.
• Set up instrumentation, sensors, data-acquisition, and measurement systems for tests.
• Assemble cables, harnesses, connectors, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Document test results, redlines, discrepancies, and buildability feedback.
