Anduril Industries is seeking an R&D Engineering Technician in Costa Mesa, CA to turn approved CAD and drawings into test-ready hardware. The role mixes mechanical fabrication with instrumentation, harness troubleshooting, and development-test operations.

You’ll work with engineers to address manufacturability risks and move parts from concept to test-ready hardware. You will collaborate with internal and external shops, set up sensors and data acquisition, and maintain thorough build records

Competenze

• 4+ years hands-on prototype machining, fabrication, or high-mix hardware experience.
• Ability to turn CAD models/drawings into finished parts with mills, lathes, CNCs, hand tools.
• Ability to read drawings, GD&T, tolerances, materials, inspection requirements.

Mansioni

• Machine and fabricate prototype parts from CAD/drawings following tech direction.
• Provide feedback on manufacturability, tolerances, materials, tooling, and inspection.
• Coordinate purchase orders and supplier shops to schedule work.
• Set up instrumentation and data-acquisition systems for development testing.
• Build and troubleshoot cables, harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies.
