Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to join our Irvine, CA team. You will fabricate and assemble prototype electrical designs to support early engineering development, integration, and testing, working with designers to provide DFM/DFA feedback.

Hands-on experience with building harnesses and PCBs is required. You will perform layout and assembly, test setups, and troubleshooting down to the component level, documenting results and maintaining lab standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on electronics testing, assembly, and rework in R&D or production.
• Ability to read complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and datasheets.
• Proficiency in fine-pitch SMT and through-hole soldering; PCB rework and component replacement.
• Experience building and modifying complex cable and wire harness assemblies with crimping and soldering.
• Proficiency diagnosing electronic failures to the component level with standard test equipment.
• Understanding of product development lifecycles, reliability, and compliance testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; self-organizing to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and modify cable and wire harness assemblies per schematics and docs.
• Perform precision PCB rework and SMT/through-hole soldering under a microscope.
• Execute test plans using benchtop equipment to verify PCB and system performance.
• Troubleshoot failures to component level using schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Document test data, rework actions, and failure modes for analysis.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure clean, safe working environment.
