Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to join the Hardware Platform Organization. You will build test racks and fixtures, fabricate mil-spec cable harnesses, and work with engineers to bring new hardware from prototype to test.

You will set up and document electrical test procedures, operate scopes and power supplies, and troubleshoot to root cause. This role requires hands-on fabrication in a fast-paced R&D lab environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in building custom electrical test racks, fixtures, or cable harnesses in R&D/aerospace/defense.
• Mil-spec connectors crimping, backshell, EMI shielding, and related tooling knowledge.
• IPC-620 certification status or recertification on hire.
• J-STD-001 soldering certification status or recertification on hire.
• Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and drawings with incomplete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build custom electrical test racks and fixtures from engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Fabricate cable harnesses to mil-spec standards and perform EMI shielding terminations.
• Set up, execute, and document electrical test procedures with traceable records.
• Operate bench test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and DAQ systems.
• Troubleshoot assemblies to root cause and collaborate with engineers.
