Job summary

Amentum is hiring for an Electrical Engineering Program Integrator at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD, supporting the Prototyping Integration Facility (PIF) of the C5ISR Center. The role focuses on prototyping, integration, and testing of electrical systems for military platforms across air, ground, and sea programs.

You will lead prototype programs, develop data packages, coordinate with engineers, and ensure DoD policies and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical engineering or related technical discipline with five years of experience.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and direct admin, program, and technical personnel.
• Thorough experience in lifecycle management of military systems.
• Knowledge of DoD/Army plans, standards, and methods for acquisition and support of military systems.
• Ability to manage schedules and costs to provide on-time, within-budget performance.
• Ability to provide direction for operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ability to provide recommendations for resolution of technical problems.
• Experience in the manufacture of communications-electronics or military systems.
• Knowledge of CAM operation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prototype/limited manufacturing programs focused on C5ISR.
• Provide technical leadership in concepts, data packages, and fabrication oversight of electrical hardware systems.
• Coordinate with other engineers to address quality, safety, and logistics concerns.
• Assist in the preparation of test plans and present results, while estimating work and tracking expenditures.
• Oversee setup and operation of electrical fabrication tools in a prototype shop.
• Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Oversee design and testing of wiring harnesses, power cables, and electrical components.
