Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Engineering Program Integrator for the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. You will lead prototype electrical hardware initiatives for C5ISR programs, applying lifecycle management discipline and DoD standards, while coordinating cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical engineering or related discipline with five years of experience.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and direct activities of administrative, program, and technical personnel.
• Thorough lifecycle management experience of military systems.
• Knowledge of DoD/Army plans, standards and acquisition methods.
• Ability to manage schedules and costs to deliver on time and within budget.
• Ability to provide direction for operations and enforce policies.
• Ability to resolve technical problems.
• Experience in manufacturing of communications-electronics or military systems.
• Familiarity with CAM operations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance (US citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Oversee prototype/limited manufacturing programs for C5ISR programs.
• Provide technical leadership in development of concepts and data packages; oversee fabrication of electrical hardware.
• Collaborate with engineers to meet quality, safety and logistics requirements.
• Prepare test plans and present design/test results; provide estimates and track expenditures.
• Oversee setup and operation of electrical fabrication tools in prototyping shop.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for system designs.
• Oversee design/testing of wiring harnesses, power cables, cabling and brackets.
• Utilize test equipment to verify cable/assembly/COTS performance.
• Plan fabrication and construction of mechanisms and instruments meeting requirements.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Prepare program plans and monitor expenditures for ongoing systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to design systems.
