Job Description

The Prototype Build Engineer for this position will be responsible for managing all prototype build activities, including developing and communicating build plans based on vehicle specifications, test plans, and program timing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Leading part procurement and resolving supplier issues across multiple programs.
2. Providing prototype design support.
3. Creating BOMs.
4. Developing process sheets for build operators.
5. Resolving build floor issues affecting quality, engineering design, manufacturing processes, and timing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of vehicle build processes.
• Familiarity with CATIA V5, NX, and TeamCenter.
• Strong leadership, communication, and program management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with ability to prepare presentations and present to all management levels.
