Your new role

We are seeking a Project Engineer with a civil engineering background and strong site/civil design and Civil 3D skills to join our Data Center Development team. You will work on conceptual master planning, site design, permitting, and utility coordination for hyperscale data center campuses and other complex site development projects across North America.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Support site feasibility evaluations and master planning for data center campuses including site planning, grading, drainage and utility plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers, CAD technicians, planners, geotechnical engineers, and environmental specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with local zoning requirements, land development process, and environmental permits.
  • Prepare technical reports, and engineering design documents.
  • Mentor junior staff and CAD technicians.

About you

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in site/civil engineering - experience with data center, industrial, or campus-scale developments preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiar with grading, drainage, and utility design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annualbase salary between $81,515 - $101,894. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, includingexperience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training andskill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
