Job summary

Performance Driven Workforce in Romeo, MI is seeking Experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time roles with AM day shift and PM night shift, plus possible overtime, working with a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier on experimental prototypes.

Ideal candidates have a minimum high school diploma and 3 years of automotive technician experience, own tools with rolling toolbox, and the ability to read and follow service procedures. Retirees and veterans are welcome; benefits begin after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years automotive technician/mechanic experience.
• Must have own tools with rolling toolbox.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle functional condition by inspecting and following repair orders or leader instructions.
• Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts.
• Read, interpret, and follow service procedures.
• Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders.
• Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs.
• Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up.
