Job summary

Rockwell Automation, Inc. in Ladysmith, WI is seeking a Production Assembler for 1st shift to build mechanical components and support molding runs. Begin at 6:00am, state-of-the-art safety practices, and log work with simple computer entries.

You will move between benches, operate hand and pneumatic tools, perform basic quality checks, and assist with preventive maintenance. Overtime is common to meet demand; health benefits and 401(k) are available.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• No prior related experience is typically required; we will train.

Responsibilities

• Follow clear, documented work instructions and safety procedures.
• Perform mechanical assembly and general manufacturing tasks across departments as needed.
• Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and lifting equipment safely.
• Complete simple computer-based production and documentation activities.
• Assist with visual and dimensional quality checks.
• Support preventative maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental regulations; adjust schedule as needed.
• Work overtime typically 10–20 hours per week.
