Job summary

You will translate concepts into functional solutions while collaborating with engineers to improve products, processes, and equipment.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to troubleshoot and implement practical manufacturing improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with fabrication, machining, welding, forming, drilling, milling, turning, grinding, and hand tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical prints, and specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret functional requirements and develop practical solutions to manufacturing challenges.
• Ability to evaluate multiple solution approaches and recommend practical implementations.
• Ability to communicate concepts and designs effectively with engineers, technicians, and production personnel.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate prototypes, fixtures, tooling, and equipment from drawings and concepts.
• Collaborate with engineers during equipment and process development.
• Design and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Operate fabrication and machining equipment safely and effectively.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of tooling in injection molding tools.
