Job summary

1X in San Carlos, CA is seeking a Fabrication Technician to support hands-on work in the Prototyping shop. You will assemble and finish physical prototypes, including sanding parts, and move between projects as priorities shift.

• Hands-on experience assembling and finishing physical parts or prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prototype parts with attention to fit and finish.
• Sand and finish parts to support prototype builds and evaluation.
• Provide hands-on support across projects as build priorities change.
• Raise fit, finish, or assembly issues you notice for the next iteration.
• Keep shared work areas and tools organized and ready for the next build.
