Job summary

Creare seeks a Fabrication Technician in Hanover, NH to support engineering prototypes and test facilities with hands-on machining, welding, prototyping, assembly, and mechanical construction.

You will fabricate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies, build fixtures and tooling, interpret CAD drawings, verify tolerances, and assist engineers with prototype development while maintaining safe, organized shop spaces.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fabrication skills in machining, welding, prototyping, and assembly.
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings and verify tolerances.
• Experience building fixtures and custom tooling.
• Strong organization and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies.
• Machine with mills, lathes, grinders; weld, cut, and assemble.
• Build fixtures, prototypes, and tooling.
• Support CAD-driven fabrication and verify drawings.
• Maintain shop equipment and spaces.
• Assist engineers with prototypes and facility mods.
