Job summary

IBA, the global leader in Proton Therapy, seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair IBA systems across customer sites in the USA, with opportunities for international travel to Europe and Asia. This home-based role supports a 50% on-site presence and requires strong electronics and vacuum/RF knowledge.

Required is a Bachelor of Science in Physics or Engineering (or 3–5 years of related experience) and readiness for on-call and weekend support as part of a follow-the-sun

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering field, or 3–5 years of field service experience.
Solid knowledge of electronics; understanding of High Vacuum and RF systems.
Detail-oriented, team player, self-starter and travel capable.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair IBA systems at customers' locations.
Train customers to use equipment safely and properly.
Generate accurate reports with appropriate detail and propose improvements.
Support on-site and remote troubleshooting; travel as needed.
