IBA Proton Therapy in Estero, Florida, seeks an on-site Engineer to install, operate, and maintain the Proton Therapy System (PTS). You will troubleshoot complex issues, support hardware/software testing, and contribute to system upgrades, working directly with clinical staff to protect, enhance, and save lives.

You will balance technical expertise with patient care, mentor team members, and ensure high availability of critical equipment during clinical operations, with comprehensive training

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineer to install, operate and maintain the Proton Therapy System (PTS).
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, software and integrated system issues.
• Pass Oral Board examinations within the first 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Document system symptoms, troubleshooting activities, root cause findings, and corrective actions.
• Build trusted relationships with clinical staff as a technical advisor.
• Represent the company as the primary technical contact for the customer site.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, system upgrades, and inspections.
