Job summary

Hitachi Particle Engineering and Services, Inc. seeks a Site Engineer I to service the Particle Beam Therapy (PBT) system at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL.

The role involves preventative and corrective maintenance, detailed documentation, and teamwork to ensure system uptime and regulatory compliance. This full-time position is 6-month temp-to-perm, located on site at the Mayo Clinic site, requiring mechanical/electrical skills, safety discipline, and the ability to interpret schematics and use

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering documents (schematics, wiring diagrams).
• Use measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, leak detectors, etc.).
• Operate hand tools safely to assemble and disassemble equipment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work in elevated areas.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support operational performance and patient experience.
• Respond to service support calls promptly and professionally.
• Interface with customers to ensure maximum satisfaction.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and document PM/CM activities.
• Schedule PM maintenance with the team to minimize downtime.
