Job summary

Hitachi Particle Engineering and Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician I in Jacksonville, FL to join the Particle Therapy Division.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on the Particle Beam Therapy system and work with a small team to ensure uptime while complying with HIPAA, EH&S, FDA, OSHA, and Radiation Safety rules. The role requires reading engineering documents, using measurement tools, performing PM tasks, completing reports, and maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering documents such as schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Use measurement instruments and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Follow safety practices and 6S standards during maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support operational performance and patient experience.
• Respond to service calls promptly and document activities.
• Interface with customers to ensure satisfaction and safety compliance.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance per PM schedules.
• Complete service reports and paperwork accurately.
• Coordinate with team to schedule PM work and optimize parts usage.
