A leading medical technology company is seeking a Travel Field Service Engineer to maintain and operate the Proton Therapy System across various customer sites. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, customer support, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires substantial travel, technical expertise, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in new technologies and the ability to work independently in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with radiation therapy equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to use standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical responsibility over the Proton Therapy System.
• Provide customer support through on-site operation and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot PTS equipment including electrical, mechanical, and software problems.

Skills

Electronic/Electrical and Mechanical ability

Troubleshooting and data analysis techniques

Strong interest in new technology

Good manual dexterity

Education

Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Engineering, Physics, or related field

4-6+ years of technical experience in the Military or equivalent

Tools

SalesForce or equivalent CRM

Instrumentation and control systems
