Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Baltimore, MD seeks a Field Service Engineer to support Varian Proton Therapy Systems at on-site locations. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer training while ensuring safety and adherence to FDA requirements.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Eng. Technologies or equivalent, strong English communication, and flexibility for shift work and travel as needed. Local relocation to Baltimore area is expected.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Engineering Technologies or equivalent.
Must be able to occasionally work at heights above 20 feet or in cramped spaces.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Must have a customer focused attitude.
Ability to troubleshoot by utilizing technical drawings and root cause methodologies.
Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Salesforce, and PLC GUI tools.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high degree of professional knowledge and safety consciousness according to VMS guidelines.
Provide highly visible customer support including assisting our customer in operating the system.
Serve as a company liaison with the customer on technical and/or administrative matters.
Perform all operational quality checks including planned maintenance in a timely manner.
Provide accurate, detailed and concise field service reports.
Complete required assignments, Service Technical Bulletins and Upgrades in a timely manner.
Complete mandatory training assignments and certifications on time to maintain FDA compliance.
