A medical equipment manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and support the Proton Therapy System. The role requires interaction with customers and technical staff, performing maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. A Bachelor’s in Engineering or Physics is preferred, along with a strong customer service angle. Candidates will work in a dynamic environment with extensive training in MEVION systems.
Qualifications
4-6+ years of technical experience in the Military or equivalent (e.g., Electronics technicians, mechanics).
Experience with radiation therapy equipment is a plus.
Experience with troubleshooting and data analysis techniques required.
Responsibilities
Operate Proton Therapy System, including troubleshooting and post-service testing.
Provide on-site operation support and perform corrective and preventive maintenance.
Communicate system status clearly to customers and team members.
