Job summary

The Zhang Lab at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard is seeking a Research Scientist 3 with expertise in proteomics and peptidomics to develop and optimize quantitative and qualitative assays supporting research in programmable therapeutics and human health.

You will prepare samples, operate LC-MS instruments, troubleshoot workflows, and analyze data using PEAKS, FragPipe, DIA-NN, and Skyline, while leading projects, guiding experimental design, and mentoring junior researchers across teams.

Qualifications

• Expertise in proteomics and peptidomics, including immunopeptidomic assays.
• Experience leading projects from concept to execution.
• Ability to design experiments and mentor junior researchers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare biological samples for MS analyses.
• Operate and maintain LC-MS instruments and troubleshoot workflows.
• Analyze mass spectrometry data using PEAKS, FragPipe, DIA-NN, and Skyline.
