Job summary

The Gordon Laboratory at Emory University is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to lead mass spectrometry–based studies integrating biology and cellular engineering to study immune signaling, cancer biology, and infectious disease. The role combines experimental work with computational analyses in mammalian systems.

Primary duties include MS operation, workflow development, data analysis, literature review, and presenting scientific reports.

Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent in an appropriate field.
  • Excellent scientific writing ability and strong oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues.
  • Additional qualifications as specified by the Principal Investigator.

Responsibilities

  • Operate mass spectrometry and develop workflows for proteomics analyses.
  • Coordinate experiments and manage project timelines.
  • Perform quantitative data analysis and literature review.
  • Develop new experimental approaches and present findings orally and in writing.
