Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Application Scientist to support LC-MS products and demonstrations. You will train customers, develop applications, and collaborate with Sales, Service, and Product teams to deliver technical expertise in the Clinical and Forensics markets.

This on-site role reports to the Sr Manager, Application Support and is based in North America (Marlborough, MA or Golden, CO) with travel up to 50% to client sites.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in chemistry or related life sciences with MS experience.
• Experience with LC-MS/MS method development and validation.
• Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and analyze data for customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations showcasing SCIEX LC/MS workflows.
• Provide on-site training for customers on SCIEX hardware and software.
• Identify growth opportunities with sales units and develop application solutions.
• Collaborate across regions to expand the application solutions portfolio.
• Contribute to hardware/software development tests and product validation.
• Participate in scientific conferences and training to stay current.
