Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Protein Purification Scientist for our large pharmaceutical client in Spring House, PA. This hands-on role focuses on purification, separation, characterization, and quality assessment of proteins and antibodies to support biologics discovery.

The role involves purification using affinity, ion exchange, and size exclusion chromatography, as well as high-throughput workflows and laboratory automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or MS in a related scientific discipline.
• 2–5 years hands-on protein purification experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Experience with affinity chromatography, ion exchange chromatography (IEX) and SEC.
• Hands-on experience with liquid chromatography systems for protein purification.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on purification and characterization of antibodies and other proteins.
• Execute protein purification using affinity chromatography, IEX, and SEC.
• Operate LC systems (FPLC/HPLC) for protein purification.
• Support high-throughput protein purification workflows and automation.
• Maintain accurate notebooks and prepare technical reports and protocols.
