Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking an Associate Scientist to support purification process development during pivotal and commercial development phases. The role focuses on highthroughput purification of upstream/cell culture samples and on optimizing assays using automation platforms like Tecan and Hamilton.

The candidate will contribute to design and execution of benchscale purification studies, collect and analyze data, and maintain thorough documentation in electronic lab notebooks.

Qualifications

• MS with 2+ years or BS with 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience developing and executing HTP purification assays using automated liquid handling systems (Tecan, Hamilton).
• Experience with chromatography (e.g., AKTA) and downstream techniques.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute highthroughput purification workflows for upstream/cell culture samples.
• Operate, optimize, and maintain automated liquid handling systems (Tecan, Hamilton).
• Develop, qualify, and refine HTP purification assays and microscale methods.
• Collaborate with upstream teams to ensure timely sample processing and data delivery.
